To whom it may concern,
After watching Jose Mas on "Undercover Boss" in July I decided to interview a few of Mastec's Directv Technicians. Unfortunately, they did not get a chance to be seen or heard on National Television or by Jose Mas.
It's incredible how many of these employees fear they will lose their employment if they speak up. I was bothered by what I heard and decided I should be their voice. Below I am listing a few concerns.
1. These employees work 6 days a week including ever Saturday of the month allowing them no time for family. I didn't understand how your corporation will allow this being that Jose Mas is all about family. Why not alternate technicians allowing them to at least have 1 weekend a month to spend with their families.
Ex: Rooms to Go Service/Installation Team Schedule
John works Tuesday to Saturday this week, gets of Sunday. Next week he works Monday to Friday gets off Saturday, Sunday & Monday. and so on.
2. Why are technicians not routed within "x" amount of miles of the area they are working in. Your corporation is wasting gallons and gallons of gas just in miles traveled back and forth. Example you have technicians that live in the North Miami Area but are routed to Little Havana. When there is technicians that live in the Little Havana Area and are routed to North Miami or County line. You also have multiple technicians working the same area on the same day. Why not give all those jobs to the same technician. I understand that at times there might not be enough jobs to sort them out correctly but most of the times this is how your system is routing your techs. (Wasting EXPENSIVE Gas if you ask me)
3. Why are supervisors allowed to request material on behalf of the technicians? Most of these technicians are being charged for material that has been requested on their behalf and not justified for. Simply, because their is no proper organization. You should implement a system where the technician has to punch in a code provided directly by corporate upon receiving and verifying their material. This code can not be given to Supervisors or warehouse personnel. Technicians have grown suspicious assuming material is being sold to other contractors and they are being charged for the misplacement of said material. This also causes lack of material for your technicians. If anything, Supervisors should be protecting their technicians and not jeopardizing their income.
These are three important details that affect your company as much as it affects the technician. If you have an unhappy employee they wont have the drive to work at 100%. Lack of material and improper routing creates unnecessary expenses for your company.
I can go on with minor complaints these technicians have and bore you. Instead I choose to focus on the complains that affect both parties involved. I can only hope you take this email seriously and focus on implementing necessary changes.

A lot, of Immigration Attorneys take advantage of immigrants.
- They over charge or charge for misc. fees (like notary fees/excessive fees for translations)
- They submit applications knowing they will be denied to then charge you to file an appeal that might not be granted.
Note: If you came in to theU.S. illegally, marrying a U.S. Citizen is not going to help you gain legal status. Your best bet is to go back to your country and have your fiancé petition for you.

GRAND THEFT 3RD DEGREE 2 CNTS
Fabiola Gomez has a prior, she was arrested in December of 2006 for Grand Theft 1st degree, False Report, 2 CNTS of Forgery and 2 CNTS of Uttering Forged Instruments. Luckily, her case was dismissed. You would think that she would govern her self accordingly and stay away from conducting inappropriate business.
On the other had her co-defendant, possibly also her husband Juan Tomas Gomez has an extensive criminal record. Starting in 1985 for Forgery, Uttering Forged Instruments, and 2 CNTS of Grand theft 2nd Degree. Last known arrest being in 2002 for Grand Theft 3 Degree.
Fabiola Gomez is a licensed bail bondsman per the records held with the Department of Financial Services, however they state that she is not appointed with any agency to conduct business. On the other hand Juan Tomas Gomez has never been a licensed bondsman.
With this being said, how many families did they take advantage of? How much money have they taken for services not rendered?
